About us

Clos du Paws was founded by lifetime dog lover, Katie McQueary Bartz. She wanted to provide dogs with a cage free boarding experience that would replicate their family home. Dogs who stay at Clos du Paws are invited to choose a cozy spot on a bed or couch in the Dog House. Guests can enjoy the amenities of a home environment such as heating/ AC, televisions streaming your pets favorite dog channel, and vineyard views through the floor to ceiling windows. During the daytime, our overnight doggy guests get to hang out in the 1/2 acre dog park. Feel good about going on vacation knowing your dog’s having a pawsitively wonderful staycation.
